I was commissioned to write & direct a 1min promo film for FASS - the largest art festival in Quebec. This film is about rebirth. The musicians represent the stillness of the past two years. The butterfly attempts to restore inspiration to everyone. The film features world renowned dancer Guillaume Coté, Conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin of the New York Metropolitan Opera, and the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. We scanned everyone with a photogrammetry rig and in post rebuilt each character to create a hybrid cg/live action stylized look and comped them into this magical dreamscape.
